Van Life Campgrounds — Founding team agreement
We're building this together.
Roles, revenue, equity, and the path to co-ownership — April 2026 onward.
Why this document exists. We've all been working without a paycheck — me included. The difference is I own the asset we're all building. That's not a fair long-term arrangement, and this document is how we fix it. Signing this makes it real: you're officially part of the founding team, with revenue starting now and a clear path to owning a piece of everything we build.

Land Freedom — separate initiative, still taking shape. Running it independently through Discord right now, figuring out what the product actually needs to be before building anything. It's not a VLC revenue stream and isn't part of this agreement. Let's build VLC 2.0 first — then we can figure out Land Freedom and beyond.
Equity — what it means and when it locks
Equity in VLC is ownership of real land
This isn't equity in an abstract startup. Every plot sale feeds a land fund that VLC uses to acquire more property. Those properties are majority-owned by VLC — which means an equity stake here is a stake in the land itself, plus the business we're building on top of it.
Real property
Ownership in every VLC-held parcel — Joshua Tree, Molalla, Colorado, and future acquisitions
Land fund
Plot sale proceeds recycle into new land — your equity grows with each acquisition

Equity today includes locations we haven't bought yet — it compounds with the network

We spend the rest of 2026 building together and learning how we actually function as a team. Around January 2027 we'll sit down, negotiate percentages honestly based on where things stand, and lock equity. The exact structure — whether that's phantom equity, a formal incorporation, or something else — will be whatever makes the most sense at that point. The commitment is made today. The mechanics get sorted when the time is right.
Sign to make it official
Founding team agreement — Van Life Campgrounds
By signing, each person confirms they've read and agreed to the terms above and is officially joining the VLC founding team in the role described.
We're committing to building Van Life Campgrounds together — not as employees, but as co-builders with skin in the game. Revenue splits activate immediately. Equity percentages will be negotiated in good faith and locked when the time is right, in whatever structure makes the most sense. This document represents our mutual intent. A formal legally binding agreement will be executed via DocuSign when equity is locked.
