Own The Ground You Park On

A permanent piece of land, in a community full of people who know your name. Build on it, store your gear on it, use it as your base. And drive away whenever you want.

WHY WE BUILT THIS

“I’ve been everywhere I wanted to go. Now what?”

It shows up around year two. The map stops feeling infinite. The people you started with have an apartment again, or a mortgage, or a piece of land they can’t leave for more than a week.

They didn’t stop loving the road. They needed something underneath them, and every option on the table asked them to give the road up to get it.

That trade has cost this community a decade of good people. So we built a way out of it.

Your Own Land

❌ Find it, permit it, develop it

❌ Build every amenity yourself

❌ Sit on it alone

❌ One place, and you’re tied to it

A Plot At VLC

✔️ Already built, already running

✔️ Kitchen, showers, cowork, games

✔️ A community with weekly activities

✔️ Leave whenever, it’s still yours

THE FUTURE OF VANLIFE

A Base In Every Season.
For Less Than One Lot.

The climbing rack stays on your plot in the desert. The kayak stays on the one in the Pacific Northwest. You follow the weather between them and never pack either one again, because both places are yours.

That is the part buying a single piece of land can’t give you at any price. And it costs less.

Two VLC Plots. Desert for winter, mountains for summer = $50,000

One Raw Lot. Bought, permitted, drilled, wired, and built out = $150,000

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

And with the VLC Plots you keep the road.

Joshua Tree plots are $25,000 each. Colorado is priced at acquisition. Land, permitting, well, septic, and power on raw acreage vary enormously by state and parcel from $50-500k, which is exactly the problem.

1. You Own It

Fractional LLC equity and designated land rights. It’s your name on paper, not a lease.

2. You Build It

A tiny home, a workshop, a garden, a shed for the gear you’re tired of hauling around.

4. You Get First Dibs

Every new location we open, you get the first call before anyone else.

3. You Park On It

It’s your ground, held for you, whether you’re on it in January or nine time zones away.

80% of every plot sale buys the next location. Each sale is what makes the one after it possible.

VLC has never taken outside investment. Not a dollar of VC money. The network is fully owned and funded by nomads.

HOW YOU GET ONE

Plots Are Earned

A plot costs more than a lump sum someone can wire us: It costs real nights on the ground getting to know this community and exactly what you’re buying into.

Nobody should put money into this after two nights, a few drinks and a nice sunset. Come enough times and you’ll know whether the mornings, the projects and the people are right for you. Most of what makes this worth owning doesn’t show up on a first visit.

These plots are our way of “locking in the homies”. They’re only offered to the people who understood what we were building, because they’re building it with us. So here’s how you get started…

30 Nights Over 3 Separate Stays.

Cross that and you’ve unlocked a plot talk: a real conversation with our team about owning a piece of this.

A plot talk is not a plot. It means you’ve seen enough of this place to know what you’d be signing up for, so we can have a real conversation about it. This whole concept is new and we need folks who are excited about helping us shape it, and rolling with the punches as we do.

Already camped with us? Check your progress toward a plot talk.

Raising your hand doesn't guarantee anything. Plots go to people who've spent real time here. It just means we know where to find you.
